Picket Fence Charm

I am getting super excited because my husband is almost done with our picket fence in the front yard.  He has been trying to work on it through all the rain we have been getting.  We have a 1957 ranch home that had absolutely no curb appeal when we bought it almost 5 years ago.   It is definitely a work in progress.  Slowly but surely we are adding bits of charm.  My husband painted the house a very sweet pale pink with antique white trim.  Over the past few years we have planted hydrangeas, peonies and roses.  Now the picket fence is the cherry on top.  I am so excited to plant more flowers along the backside of the fence.  Do you have any suggestions for flowers that you love and are easy to care for?
 We had a sunbreak yay!
You can actually see some blue sky!
I hope you are all having a lovely sun filled week! ♥

  4. When I was a little girl in L.O., I would walk to and from school. Along the way I would pass the cutest little cottage painted white with a picket fence and arbor. There were lovely roses and flowers everywhere, and tall trees set in the background. I remember saying to myself that I wanted a house just like that. It made me happy because it was such a quaint little habitat. Aunt Collette
